I'm very suspicious after their agressive sales call today.

I didn't accept their offer. These folks called and represented themselves as PECO the utility that does our power billing. Experion is the parent company of PECO so I thought that was who I would be dealing with until the sales person spelled the name. They continued to press me to just get my recent bill and interupted me instead of giving answers to my questions about the company. That was time to hang up! The call came in from a phone number identified as "private," another reason to be suspicious in my opinion.

Bait and switch

Stay away from Sperian Energy!! Classic bait and switch. I originally signed up with their 3 month fixed rate program. The details of the program were after I signed up, they were suppose to notify me 1 month prior to the expiration of the 3 month cycle with the new 3 month rate and the program would automatically rollover to the new 3 month rate. I was never notified 1 month prior to the end of the 3 month program and after the initial 3 month program expired they no longer offered another 3 month program and automatically put me into their monthly variable rate program which had a rate 35% higher. Customer service was not help at all. They came across as if I should be honored to be one of their customers. Buyer beware.
