takes advantage after contract expires

The rates they offered during the 2 year contract were priced very well. Just before the contract was up, I received a letter notifying me that the contract was expiring. They said that my rates wouldn't be locked in any longer but would still be very competitive. Bull$**t! Any money I saved over the 2 year period, i lost and then some within the first 2-3 months my rates were variable. It also takes another 2-3 months to get switched back over to PSE&G. So in the 5-6 months I've been stuck with them I've been screwed.
Beware of extra monthly charge!

I had a 12-mo. contract with Spark. As soon as it expired, the next month's bill had a "base monthly charge" of $4.95. I don't recall getting ANY information or disclosure from Spark that this would occur. I am immediately switching to another supplier.
Great price w/virtually no effort.

I signed up with Spark over a year ago through Power2Switch. They gave me a great price and it was no additional work on my part since they billed me through ComEd.

We switched to a 100% green plan from Spark and haven't had any issues getting setup or with billing in our contract. Everything's been exceptionally smooth.
