Power2Switch Industry Review
Industry rating by state derived from objective public data sources. The average number of lightning bolts for all sources where data is available. For instance, if a supplier has a BBB lightning bolt rating of 4, an Illinois lightning bolt rating of 2, a Texas lightning bolt rating of 3, and no rating in New York's rating system, it's overall lightning bolt rating is 3 [(4 + 2 + 3) / 3].
Nothing like they were last year

I switched from Direct Energy last fall,(9/12), because they refused to match Integrys rate. Direct was very unhelpful and rude and even could not find my account right away when I called them. But when I talked with them at Integrys they were very helpful and pleasant and even took care of a problem with the start date, because of a recent move. The only thing I didn't like, was the fact that there was an early termination fee, which I hadn't had with Direct. Anyway, Power2Switch says my contract with Integrys expired on 9/24/13, but when I called Integrys, they said it wasn't up until the end of the year! I asked the guy if I could at least get their current rate of .486,(that's what he said it was), till my contract was up, and he said no. I said if he wouldn't at least do that much for me, that I would not renew my contract at the end of the year with them, no matter how low their rate was at that time! He then put me on hold for 8 whole minutes, just to say he wouldn't do it without charging the termination fee. So I said okay, you just lost my business, good-bye!
Very unhappy with the way they do business

I think it is not right to inform prospective clients on their fees! Potential customers should have full disclosure on the presentation of signing a contract with a new provider! Not providing full disclosure on prices is unfair to the citizens of Chicago and senior citizens. I would not do any business with this company until they start disclosing to prospective clients what their future bills will be so they can compare them with their present provider. In my opinion Integry is a bad deal for the citizens of Chicago!
Beware of Integrys

We found out that Integrys is not the cheapest so we switched our apartment here in Palatine. We get a letter in the mail 2 weeks later (after the 10 day rescinding period) saying we owe them $25 for switching billers. Total BS and it wouldn't surprise me if our new company actually wasn't just a Branch of Integrys so they get more money.
