I switched from Direct Energy last fall,(9/12), because they refused to match Integrys rate. Direct was very unhelpful and rude and even could not find my account right away when I called them. But when I talked with them at Integrys they were very helpful and pleasant and even took care of a problem with the start date, because of a recent move. The only thing I didn't like, was the fact that there was an early termination fee, which I hadn't had with Direct. Anyway, Power2Switch says my contract with Integrys expired on 9/24/13, but when I called Integrys, they said it wasn't up until the end of the year! I asked the guy if I could at least get their current rate of .486,(that's what he said it was), till my contract was up, and he said no. I said if he wouldn't at least do that much for me, that I would not renew my contract at the end of the year with them, no matter how low their rate was at that time! He then put me on hold for 8 whole minutes, just to say he wouldn't do it without charging the termination fee. So I said okay, you just lost my business, good-bye!
