Our village chose this supplier and even after opting out, sending notice of opting out, going to my village and opting out, this company still hi-jacked my account. Not only did I lose all of the discounts I was already receiving from ComEd, but they are stalling on returning my account to ComEd for up to another 60 days. Do not trust this company. If they really are all that they say they are, they wouldn't need to force enrollment nor make it difficult to switch back. For complaints, call the ICC at 1-800-524-0795.

I am so glad that I switched to FirstEnergy Solutions. I have saved at least 25.00 per month and I am glad not to be paying that to ComEd. My bill comes via ComEd but it is very explicit on the bill who is responsible for what charges.

We switched to First Energy Solutions from ComEd via Power2Switch three months ago. So far we saved $20 plus each month.

I run a small business form my home. My Electric bill dropped from $650 to $400 per month with First Energy. The savings have been great! I tried Champion Energy out for a year. You want to know about extremely poor service Be 5 days late (I was on vacation) with a bill and they send out messages that they are sending your debt to collection, be 10 days late and some threatening junkie calls you up trying to scare you. Then they jack up your rate. I didn't see that in the agreement. After the 5 day incident I thought I'd teach them a lesson about customer service and not pay them until I was ready. After 30 day the threatening email messages started. So I replied stating that I would love for them to cancel my services so I could deal with a professional company. THE ONLY THING CHAMPION DID RIGHT was reply to my message permitting me to switch.

My Village/City contracted with this supplier. I decided to try it. My bill tripled!!! I called to cancel, I was had to pay $25 on top of paying 3 times the usual bill. ComEd does the billing, we are charged for using their equipment, and all sorts of fees ComEd never charged me for until this Loser First Energy came along! No one at First Energy is capable or qualified to answer general questions, I have to call ComEd. Come On!!! It is costing me dearly to get RID of them. 2 to 3 billing cycles is how long it will take. Safe yourself the hassle, aggrevation, and hard earned dollars! DON'T BUY THIS SERVICE - YOU'LL REGRET IT!!!!

No problems switching from ComEd and no issues since. I save about $10 / month.
