Initially, when I first switched over to Direct Energy as a service provider, I had a lower bill as promised. After a couple of months, the bill jumped up by roughly $80 and has been climbing steadily since. There is the initial savings and no long-term gain from it.
Review for Direct Energy

I recently switched to direct energy from another company that I cannot recall the name of. Since the Comed monopoly was broken up I have been getting offers and taking them. Overall the rate usually goes down significantly at first and then levels out to what it was before you switched (over the span of a year). So far everything is fine.
